The adventure of Un Été Au Havre began in 2017 on the occasion of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the founding of the city and the port. This grandiose anniversary, celebrated over several months, welcomed more than two million visitors.
The event had a resounding impact on the territory: the artistic spirit conquered the inhabitants, traders, students and of course the curious who discovered this seaside destination with its unique charm. Widely acclaimed, A Summer In Le Havre has become a recurring event. Thus, in Le Havre, the summer season is the time for an ambitious rendezvous with art, heritage and culture, revitalized each year by new works of contemporary art that Un Summer Au Havre delivers to the public space from the end of June to mid-September.

Du 26 avril au 21 septembre 2025, plongez dans l’histoire fascinante des paquebots à travers la prochaine exposition du MuMa – Musée d’art moderne André Malraux, Le Havre. À l’occasion du 90e anniversaire du « Normandie », explorez l’esthétique transatlantique née entre l’Europe et les Amériques, où artistes et créateurs ont sublimé ces géants des mers.
En attendant, [re]découvrez l'œuvre "Gold Coast" du collectif HeHe. L'œuvre survient en contraste avec la clarté du béton poli, avec les bleus et les gris du paysage minéral et maritime. L’enrochement se couvre d’or comme le serait l’architecture d’un patrimoine précieux.

En 2024, le duo d’artistes Lang et Baumann a remporté le prestigieux prix Paul Boesch. Cette distinction décernée par la Fondation Paul Boesch vise à soutenir et à encourager les artistes suisses dans leur développement artistique.
Devenu véritable emblème de la Ville, Lang et Baumann ont apposé une structure blanche aux contours anguleux dans l’axe de l’avenue Foch dessinée par Auguste Perret, sur la plage. La sculpture émerge des galets comme un immense cadre se découpant sur l’horizon. Monumentale et élégante, l’œuvre d’un blanc éclatant a conquis Havrais et visiteurs durant Un Été Au Havre 2017.
